Code Consulting

Our code consulting team develops innovative solutions to resolve code conflicts where multiple building codes and standards apply or where building codes, laws or ordinances conflict with design concepts or objectives.  We work closely with building code enforcing authorities to develop professional relationships that greatly enhance cooperation and the resolution of matters regarding occupant safety, accessibility and property protection.
 

Aon FPE is continually involved in the development of model codes and standards, including those for the International Code Council (ICC), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  We are extremely knowledgeable in the application of federal laws and agency regulations, such as those enforced by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
